NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND D.C. WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.
THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS INTENDED FOR PLAY IN THE UNITED STATES ONLY AND WILL BE GOVERNED BY U.S. LAW. DO NOT ENTER IF YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE AND LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.
The Big Ten Fan Camp September Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") begins at 12:00:00 p.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on 09/02/10 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 09/30/10 ("Promotion Period").
HOW TO ENTER: Go to www.BigTenFanCamp.com (the "Website"), during the Promotion Period and create an account with a user name and password, then accurately complete and submit an online entry form in accordance with the on-screen instructions. Limit one (1) entry per person or e-mail address per day. For the purposes of this Sweepstakes, a "day" shall be defined as 12:00:00 a.m. ET to 11:59:59 p.m. ET. Use of multiple e-mail address accounts for entry by a single entrant will void such entries and may result in disqualification of all entries submitted by the entrant. Automated methods of entry are prohibited and use of automated methods of entry will result in disqualification of all such entries. Please see the privacy policy located at www.bigtenfancamp.com for details of Sponsor's policy regarding the use of personal information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes. By entering, entrants agree to these Official Rules, which are final and binding in all respects.
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C., 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of The Big Ten Conference ("Sponsor") and its advertising, promotion and other coordinating agencies involved in this promotion, employees of the Big Ten Conference member universities, the Big Ten Network and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their spouses) and persons living in the households of each such person are not eligible to enter.
Drawing: Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or about 10/05/10 from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The random drawing will be held under the supervision of Promotion Activators, Inc., an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final and binding on matters relating to the Promotion.
PRIZE/ODDS OF WINNING: One (1) Grand Prize: 3-day/2-night trip for two (2) persons (Grand Prize winner and guest) to winner’s choice of one (1) of the following college football bowl games:
Little Caesars Pizza Bowl - Currently scheduled for 12/26/2010 at Ford Field, Detroit, MI
Insight Bowl – Currently scheduled for 12/28/2010 at Sun Devil Stadium, Tempe, AZ
Texas Bowl - Currently scheduled for 12/29/2010 at Reliant Stadium, Houston, TX
Dallas Football Classic - Currently scheduled for 1/1/2011 at Cotton Bowl Stadium, Dallas, TX
Gator Bowl - Currently scheduled for 1/1/2011 at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium, Jacksonville, FL
Outback Bowl – Currently scheduled for 1/1/2011 at Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, FL
Capital One Bowl – Currently scheduled for 1/1/2011 at Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium, Orlando, FL
Prize includes round trip coach air transportation for the Grand Prize winner and his/her guest from the major commercial airport nearest the Grand Prize winner’s home to the major commercial airport nearest to the location of the game selected by the winner, two (2) nights’ standard hotel accommodations (single room, double occupancy), two (2) tickets to the game selected by the winner, and $150, cash for ground transportation. Approximate retail value ("ARV"): up to $3,000.00. Actual value may depend upon winner’s point of travel origin and destination, dates of travel, and airfare fluctuations as of date of travel. Any difference between stated ARV and actual value will not be awarded. Choice of specific dates for travel for winner and guest is subject to availability and to Sponsor approval. Seat selection will be at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Prize is non-transferable and no substitutions will be made except as provided herein or at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winner must comply with all Sweepstakes rules as published. Bowl game dates and times are to be determined and are subject to change. Winner must make trip selection by 12/10/10, and must travel on dates specified, or prize will be forfeited. All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein as part of the Grand Prize are solely the responsibility of the Grand Prize winner, including but not limited to gratuities, meals, beverages, and ground transportation. All travel is subject to availability, government restrictions and regulations, hotel, airline, airport or other transportation terminal (or other types of transportation) restrictions and regulations. Other restrictions may apply. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for cancelled, delayed, suspended or rescheduled events (including but not limited to airline flights beyond its control). Winner and his/her guest must have all necessary identification and/or travel documents required for travel within the United States. Winner and his/her guest must travel together on the same itinerary. Air transportation provided only if Winner does not reside within one hundred (100) miles of the destination city. If a Winner resides within one hundred (100) miles of the destination city, they will receive the use of a rental car (if eligible) in lieu of air travel (no cash balance will be awarded). Guest must be of the age of majority in their state of residence, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must be the Grand Prize winner. Any applicable tax on a prize is the sole responsibility of the winner. No barter, transfer, substitution or assignment of prize permitted, except by Sponsor at its sole discretion in the event that the stated prize becomes unavailable. Prize is not redeemable for cash. Prize will be awarded provided it is properly claimed in accordance with these Official Rules. If a prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS: Potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by overnight delivery service on or about 10/06/10 and must execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (where permissible) within 14 days of attempt at notification or prize will be forfeited. If prize is won by an eligible entrant who is a minor in his/her state of residence, prize will be awarded to minor's parent or legal guardian who must sign and return all required documents. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of entrants. By entering the Sweepstakes, winner agrees to release, hold harmless and indemnify the Sponsor, its employees and agencies ("Promotion Parties"), from and against any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, harm, damage (including but not limited to property damage, personal injury and/or death), claims, actions, costs and expenses (including without limitation, all attorneys’ fees and court costs) arising directly or indirectly from or in connection with his/her participation in the Sweepstakes acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the prize or participation in any prize-related activity. Acceptance of prize further constitutes consent of winner for Sponsor’s use of winner’s name, likeness and/or prize and biographical information in all media worldwide without limitation for advertising or promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited. The Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void outside the 50 United States and D.C. and where prohibited. Sponsor reserves the right to take such action as it deems necessary to enforce these Official Rules and ensure the fair operation of the Sweepstakes, including without limitation, barring and disqualifying participants who do not comply with these Official Rules and/or tamper with the entry process. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned by any cause which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and determine winners from among all eligible entries received prior to action taken, or as otherwise deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor. By entering, entrants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, participant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, will be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of State of Illinois, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in Chicago, Illinois.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, such entry will be deemed to be made by the authorized account holder of the e‑mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is deemed as the natural person who is assigned to an e‑mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other online organization that is responsible for assigning e‑mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e‑mail address. Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for lost, late, stolen, illegible, misdirected, or non-delivered entries, or e-mail; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), Website or other connections availability, accessibility or traffic congestion, or miscommunications, or failed computer, network, telephone, satellite, or cable hardware, software or lines, or technical failure, or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network, or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information. Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Website users, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes and assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of Website. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds may be tampering with the entry process or operation of the Sweepstakes or Website, may be acting in violation of the terms of the Website or may be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to threaten, abuse or harass any other person. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsor or its agents.
IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR, ITS AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES OR RELATED COMPANIES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ENTRANTS ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SWEEPSTAKES WEBSITE OR DOWNLOADING FROM AND OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM SAID WEBSITE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING ON THE WEBSITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
